The cartoonist's role is not so much to instruct his audience, or illuminate the Truth, as it is to simply take an honest stand and present it vehemently enough so that it must be confronted. Agreed, like 'Lat' of Malaysia.

If you do intend to publish your material, I can add/revise the quips and captions if you think my style is compatible.

In any case, if it's not me, then you should still work with a writer to tweak the textual content of your material before going for a print release - which is certain to be a hit, IMHO.
