If the government really really wants to learn from private sector on how the private sector handles the salary issue. they should be aware that in private sector, a CEO’s salary need not to be highest one even though he is the top guy in the company. The top salary can go to the star manager, or well performing CFO. Similarly, President’s salary need not be higher than PM even though his position is higher than PM. PM works harder than President so he should be the one who gets the highest pay.
