I absolutely love this and your other comics. Full page articles were posted in almost every local daily newspaper (ST, BT, Today, My Paper etc) yesterday about the people in-charge of the Budget 2009 as if they just won some international award and done our country proud. I was almost disgusted. Gosh, are we supposed to kowtow to them now?

LOL. The comic reminds me of Spontaneous Demonstrations in George Orwell's Animal Farm. I got an idea for a new comic for you.
Since it is the Year of the Ox, why not draw a picture of Ox decorated in Chinese New Year ornaments and an Opposition Politician playing a flute to the Ox? The tune of the flute would be "welfare for Singaporeans, job credit scheme sucks, human rights, gay rights, etc"

In a democracy, elected officials serve the public, not the other way 'round.
In a democracy, nobody is ever 100% sure who will win the next election.
If we're going to have one-Party rule, one-FamiLEE rule, then let's just scrap the whole façade of "democratic institutions" and be done with it. We've already the highest-paid government officials in the world; we cold split the savings between more obscene ministerial payola and a much-needed tax break.
